Suva
Suva is now a busy cosmopolitan centre crammed full of restaurants of every sort and shopping to cater for all levels of purse and expectation. The Fiji Visitors Bureau - Has an office at the corner of Scott and Thompson Street. You can get good advice (free) and information about where to overnight if you should wish to do so.

Orchid Island Cultural Centre
This is one of Fiji's oldest visitor attractions featuring a Fijian village with different style of bure, a magnificent bure kalou (heathen temple) a chief's bure and its interior layout describing how he and his family had lived prior to European contract.
The National Museum
This is an outstanding repository of Fijian artifacts and historical items as well as pieces from the South Pacific, including the anchor from HMS Bounty seized in the famous mutiny against Captain William Bligh 200 years ago. The anchor was recovered from Pitcairn Island where the Bounty was scuttled and set on fire.
Government House
Its main entrance onto Queen Elizabeth Drive features a guard house and the famous Fiji Military Forces guard in red tunic and white sulu - always a favourite with photographers.
